Successfully presented an awareness evening for it's project on Sunday 9th December 2007 tagged Zauber Afrikas. The eventful day started with a Church service hosted by International Baptist Charismatic Church, where Darlington Onuchukwu ministers in both the choir and Administration. Pastor Sylvester Peprah-Kwakye from Ghana speaking on the theme "Who is my neighbour?" conscientised the touched audience about the plight of the less privilleged in society and the need for all who are able bodied to reach out to their need. The climax of the service was song ministrations by the famous Freiburg African Gospel Choir and the Royal Echoe choir.
The show evening took off with a comedy by a known commedian and film star/producer Samuel Wilsi pairing with our famous hillarious and vivacious Vida Ampomah who also is a known presenter and actor of no mean repute. The Power point presentation on the project was done by Sabine Bergen and Darlington Onuchukwu. The rest of the night was action packed with attractions from the famous Masquerade dance from Nigeria. Mary Sylvester, Zodiac, Anetou and Bolingo were on hand to entertain the audience etc. It was an evening to remember.
To the Glory of God, shortly after this program, my son Christian Onuchukwu received his first Coclear implant operation. An answer to my prayer and struggles with him for 9 good good years.(you can see it all on You-tube video: Search name is Christian Onuchukwu)

The attendant rehabilitations which I have to go with him from time to time in Freidberg, near frankfurt, France and other places kind of slowed down the activities of the Society for sometime, but to the Glory of God since July of 2009, we have successfully sent and donated a lot of the bought wheel chairs to the disabled students in the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri and other destitutes around the city.
The Head of Caritas Verband in Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Dr. Casmir Nze, Assumpta Cathedral Owerri, Imo State Nigeria, who visited us shortly here in Germany to see what we are doing himself has also by now received from us some newly sent wheel chairs for distribution to those who need them.
Another consignment is already this december on the way to these needy students and others waiting to receive theirs, all to the glory of God almighty. See part of the donation pictures as incorporated in our earlier on presented Power Point below:

One of the successes of the ending year is that we were privilleged to host our Patron and Patroness, Chief and Chief barr. Mrs Ekere Usen. This wonderful couple were on a working visit to France but took time out to spend a weekend with us here in Germany. The Disabled Cause Charity Foundation at the end of their stay held a send-off party for them in the K.Fellows Club, Freiburg Germany.
Responding to our presented address, both couple promised to do their best in the support of of our future program and projects and said they will also host the widows this Christmas in their Akwa Ibom, home amongst other things they have lined up for the poor and needy in our great country, Nigeria.
(Happy Pics of the evening being formated also, pls bear with us)
