Disabled students in the African continent who are gifted are one of the most underserved populations in our educational system, especially in Nigeria. The survey on these students has shown that a good percentage of these ones are very intelligent, talented, hardworking and ambitious but are physically impaired. The government of the African countries pay less attention to the needs of these ones.  The families in which they are born into does not help matters too.  Most regard disability as a curse and so treat the unfortunate ones born into their families thus.  Most end up  on the streets begging for alms to survive while a lot die for lack of care whereas they would have been helped to acconmplish whatever God in creating them destined them to be.

This giftedness, this zeal, this ability to still pursue their life time dream and cherished self reliant programs, projects and goals by few of the handicapped through education, in spite of their limitations need to be supported by all who have good conscience. We just have to feel for them, and find a way to assist them knowing that what kept them in the conditions they find themselves today could as well happen to any of us or any other of our close relations any day. This is where we want to function, to give succour, to solicite for wheel chairs and to alleviate their burden through infrastructure and working tools that will aid them in their pursuits for a better life. The primary purpose and aim of this web is to through it’s society, the “Disabled Cause Charity Foundation e.V” create this awareness with a view to attracting genuine interest that will for sure bring solution to the plight of these ones. The joy of doing something for someone who may not be able to say thank you to you is greater than any material gains you may have in life.


Our Society is unic in all ramifications, in that we have a detailed collection of the names, the addresses, the personal phone numbers of these students we intend to support and would be too glad to give whosoever wants to help them direct through personal contacts.  This is important to us because a lot of organisations these days collect monies that never gets to those for whom it is intended for. Once we have a benevolent client who would wish to take up the contact, the care of one of these ones, we must have succeeded.  Suffice this to say therefore that we will be more interested and  pleased to collect mainly mobility materials like wheel chairs, clutches, Disabled automobiles and bikes etc, infrastructural equipment, Medical,study aids, books etc, household materials and peronals for onward transfer to the schools where they attend for disctribution.

Our first target audience are the students in the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Owerri, Imo State Nigeria where this society also exists in the name, Physically Challenged Students  Association and so would-be partners can also reach the Rector or the Dean, Student Affairs of the school for an attestation and for possible discussion on how you would want to help them direct financially.

By Our inter-cultural links, this society  will also work hand in hand with other European Disabled Student groups and other organisations dealing on this subject matter for a meaninful integration, outreach and results.
